Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end design and implementation of a reporting platform ingesting data from multiple internal systems into Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or a comparable cloud platform.
  • •Design and maintain batch data pipelines using ELT/ETL patterns and orchestration frameworks.
  • •Develop and govern master and reference data structures to support consistent business definitions, dimensional modeling, and reporting quality.
  • •Build reusable lakehouse/warehouse/semantic models for reporting, drill-down analysis, and self-service consumption, including Power BI datasets, semantic models, dashboards, and reports with row-level security and performance tuning.
  • •Own delivery of a cost management data solution (cost-rate database design, ingestion workflows, historical version control, and reporting outputs) and establish DevOps/platform operations practices for monitoring, release management, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Approximately 8–10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or enterprise reporting platform delivery.
  • •Strong delivery experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks, plus related cloud data technologies (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Microsoft Purview).
  • •Advanced SQL skills and strong proficiency in Python, with desirable experience in Spark/PySpark and data transformation frameworks.
  • •Expertise in dimensional modeling, semantic layer design, data warehousing/lakehouse concepts, and master data management.
  • •Practical experience building Power BI datasets, semantic models, DAX measures, governance controls, and deployment pipelines.
