Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as Principal Electrical Engineer and Technical Authority on highly classified projects
  • •Lead electrical design across all project stages, from concept and feasibility through to detailed design, construction support and commissioning
  • •Provide technical assurance, governance and independent checking of electrical designs within secure programmes
  • •Develop and approve electrical strategies covering LV power systems, standby power and resilience (UPS, generators), earthing, bonding and lightning protection, containment, lighting, small power and specialist systems
  • •Ensure full compliance with UK Building Regulations, BS standards and CIBSE guidance, and defence, security and classified project standards

Key Requirements

  • •Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  • •Chartered Engineer (CEng) with IET or CIBSE
  • •Developed Vetting (DV) clearance preferred as the role is subject to UK security and nationality restrictions
