Job Summary

Drive business analysis for HSBC Life by capturing and developing user requirements through storyboarding, task analysis, and user research. Create process flows and journey maps, perform impact assessments, document requirements, and propose alternate solution options. Key Responsibilities

•Use storyboarding, task analysis, and user research to capture and develop user requirements.
•Support and engage with cross-functional/business and multi-channel teams without direct line responsibility.
•Create process flows and journey maps to understand the customer and Sales journey.
•Liaise with business, technology, digital, legal, risk, and compliance teams to evaluate requirements, perform impact assessments, document requirements, and recommend solution options.
•Identify opportunities and drive requirement gathering/delivery for straight-through approval processing using data automation and workflow automation; collaborate on user stories, acceptance criteria, UAT completion support, and change management.

Key Requirements

•Hands-on experience working as a Business Analyst in Individual Life and/or Group Life Insurance, including new implementing/handling Day2 CRs in eBAO, Compass Policy Admin or other Life/Group Insurance PAS.
•Agile methodology experience, including using Agile tools, ceremonies, and methods.
•Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and think innovatively to solve problems.
•Strong analytical skills working with ambiguous/incomplete data, with awareness of testing and experience performing testing.
•Experience developing business case, business requirements, and impact assessments, including process improvement and LEAN thinking; bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
