Key Responsibilities

•Define and own the Flight Controller and Mission Controller system and hardware architecture.
•Lead system requirements, technical roadmaps, and design decisions for hardware and embedded integration.
•Drive integration of embedded hardware, software, sensors, communications, and avionics systems, including validation and risk management.
•Conduct technical reviews and ensure product validation, verification, reliability, and compliance with aerospace, safety, cybersecurity, and environmental standards.
•Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders on product requirements and solutions while mentoring engineering teams.

Key Requirements

•Deep understanding of UAV flight control systems, mission controllers, and autopilot architectures, including PX4, ArduPilot, and NuttX with RTOS-based systems.
•Expertise in ARM-based processors, microcontrollers, SoCs, and FPGAs for real-time embedded hardware architecture and high-reliability product development.
•Experience with power architecture, redundancy, fault tolerance, and safety-critical design.
•Proficiency integrating navigation and sensing hardware (IMUs, GNSS, magnetometers, barometers, airspeed sensors) with sensor calibration and performance optimization.
•Knowledge of aerospace/defense compliance (e.g., DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, NDAA/EMC-EMI) and security principles such as secure boot and key management.
