Job Summary

Own technical relationships with Stripe’s most strategic users, guiding them from discovery to live integration and ongoing optimization. Plan and execute end-to-end integration engineering, resolve complex issues, and lead strategic conversations about Stripe product features and API architecture. Partner with Sales, Solution Architecture, Implementation, Product, and Engineering to drive engagement and surface enhancements. Build dashboards and analytics tools while providing deep debugging, testing, and hands-on implementation support.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and execute integration engineering end-to-end, from high-level architecture to code implementation, including discovery sessions and guidance through complex integrations
•Act as the primary ongoing technical point of contact for large users and partners, resolving integration issues and owning escalations for operational issues and priority requests
•Lead strategic technical conversations explaining how Stripe works across product features and API architecture while managing user expectations on timelines and changes
•Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architecture, Implementation, Product, and Engineering to drive engagement and surface enhancements based on field feedback
•Provide deep debugging and support by inspecting the Stripe codebase, thoroughly testing, creating proof-of-concept integrations and user-specific test plans, and answering ad-hoc technical questions

Key Requirements

•4+ years of experience in a software engineering or integration engineering role
•Ability to write and debug code in languages such as Go, Java, C/C++, or similar
•Comfortable with code-level debugging (including Stripe and user code) and using code to solve practical problems
•Proficiency in SQL with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
•Understanding of the payments domain and API security principles, and ability to lead technical conversations about Stripe’s product and API architecture
