Job Summary

Lead privacy, AI, and data regulation initiatives for Adidas across assigned stakeholders. Provide fit-for-purpose legal advice to ensure privacy compliance, oversee documentation such as DPIAs and data processing agreements, and coordinate with internal teams and external counsel. Manage end-to-end project delivery under the Director Global Privacy, prioritizing regulatory relevance, risk mitigation, and timely communication. Collaborate with Global Privacy, Legal, and business teams, address personal data breaches and complaints, and develop training materials to raise awareness.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and align priorities with assigned stakeholders based on regulatory relevance, privacy and AI risk and business priorities
•Deliver tailored, fit for purpose advice to ensure compliance and enable stakeholders to achieve their goals
•Data Protection Impact Assessments: Ensure the completion of Privacy Impact Assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessments within the pre-defined framework. Produce, verify and negotiate with internal or external stakeholders necessary deliverables (e.g. data processing agreements) and coordinate with external counsel as engaged by a Director
•Privacy and AI Risk Management: Engage with business owners and obtain their commitment for risk mitigation related to risk identified within activities assigned to them. Report medium or high risks to a Director
•Personal Data Breaches & Individual Complaints: Analyse and assess incoming personal data breaches per a pre-defined assessment schema and escalate a verified personal data breach to the Global Privacy management team; Coordinate or execute fact finding related to the history of any complaint and highlight privacy impact, root cause and related risk; Provide proposal for response letters; Conduct privacy trainings and coordinate privacy projects

Key Requirements

•3-5 years of relevant working experience
•Solid and proven record in the area of privacy
•Master degree in law (or equivalent) / Full law qualification; bar admission is a plus
•Relevant international privacy certification a plus (CIPP, CIPM, etc.)
•Willingness to work in a multinational, cross-functional environment
