Job Summary

Serve as a strategic communications advisor to Avionics leadership, developing and executing integrated communications strategies that advance business priorities, product launches, customer engagement, and growth. Own communications planning for major initiatives across the Avionics portfolio, create executive messaging, and coordinate earned, owned, and shared media. Partner with product management, engineering, PR, government relations, legal, HR, and corporate communications to support events, issues management, and crisis preparedness.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a strategic communications partner to the Avionics Communications Lead across the business.
•Develop and execute integrated communications strategies supporting business priorities, product launches, customer engagement, and growth initiatives.
•Lead communications planning for major strategic initiatives across the Avionics portfolio.
•Create executive communications (speeches, presentations, talking points, employee messages) and support leadership visibility and media preparation.
•Support product/customer announcements, events and trade shows; assist with issues management and crisis communications planning as needed; measure effectiveness for continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of communications, public relations, corporate communications, or related experience (or 5+ years with an advanced degree; or 12 years without a degree).
•Demonstrated experience developing executive communications and integrated communications strategies.
•Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills for executive and campaign messaging.
•Strong project management and organizational abilities, with experience managing multiple high-priority initiatives at once.
•Experience advising senior leaders and working in matrixed organizations; strong interpersonal skills building cross-functional relationships.
