Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide legal advice on strategic sourcing and IT procurement, including e-commerce and digitalization (e.g., online contract formation and digital customer offerings).
  • •Draft, negotiate, and tailor sourcing and outsourcing contracts, including large international outsourcing agreements.
  • •Maintain and review intra-group agreement terms from a Group perspective.
  • •Support Zurich Capability Centers globally and provide Board Secretariat support to certain Group entities.
  • •Lead and develop a team of two specialized lawyers.

Key Requirements

  • •Law degree and Bar exam, preferably from Switzerland.
  • •At least ten years of relevant contract drafting and negotiation experience, ideally in IT/new technologies and digital distribution of offerings/services within insurance/financial services.
  • •Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating outsourcing and large international outsourcing contracts.
  • •Strong negotiating and communication skills.
  • •Fluent written and spoken English and German.
