Key Responsibilities

•Reinforce didactic content and teach the clinical and lab application of pre-licensure nursing knowledge and skills.
•Collaborate with content area faculty to evaluate and document student progress toward clinical and lab objectives.
•Participate in grading written and clinical/lab performance check-offs.
•Maintain communication with program faculty and the director, including attendance at select faculty meetings.
•Stay current with developments in nursing practice, maintain accreditation compliance, and observe student performance at clinical sites through required local travel.

Key Requirements

•Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) required.

•An active, current, and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in New Mexico or a compact state.
•Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.
•Evidence of involvement in professional activities (e.g., memberships, presentations, research, and/or publications).
