Key Responsibilities

  • •Generate, evaluate, and develop innovative product concepts, technologies, and system architectures that deliver step-change performance.
  • •Translate consumer, technical, and commercial requirements into engineering solutions using experimentation and iterative design.
  • •Design, engineer, and build functional prototypes, demonstrators, and test rigs to evaluate feasibility, performance, and technical risk.
  • •Develop subsystems, mechanisms, and product features using sound engineering principles, analysis, and validation.
  • •Plan and execute experimental test programmes, interpret data-driven insights, and perform engineering analysis and root-cause investigations to improve products and technology.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Strong engineering fundamentals and first-principles thinking to solve complex technical challenges.
  • •Hands-on experience designing, building, and evaluating prototypes, mechanisms, electromechanical systems, or consumer products.
  • •Experience with iterative engineering processes including concept generation, prototyping, testing, data analysis, and design refinement.
  • •Proficiency in 3D CAD design and creating engineering drawings, assemblies, and prototype components.
