Key Responsibilities

•Actuarial Closing: Calculating discounting and analyzing changes relative to prior periods; generate Solvency II actuarial reporting and adjust tools for input granularity; set up IFRS aggregation tool and perform initial analysis of global claims; prepare high-quality slides for the quarterly Reserve Committee; collaborate with Accounting to resolve data quality issues in closing.
•Forecasting & Planning: Estimate impact of new market data on discounting; plan reserve levels for subsidiaries over the next three years considering growth initiatives.
•Tools, Innovation & Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in tools/processes and propose solutions; design changes in processes and collaborate with technical teams for implementation; stay updated on AI market practices.
•Ad-hoc analysis: Support the Chief Actuary, external consultants, auditors, and actuaries with ad-hoc analyses as required.
•What’s brought to the role: strong mathematical/statistical background, cross-departmental thinking, and fluent communication to stakeholders.

•Knowledge of market dynamics, regulations/compliance standards, and reporting requirements (e.g., reinsurance, underwriting, data flows).
•Finance and Insurance know-how (ideally Property & Casualty) and understanding of consolidation processes within an insurance group.
