Job Summary

Lead state and local tax compliance and reporting for US legal entities, reviewing returns, modifications, apportionment, extensions, estimated payments, and provision calculations. Oversee e-filing activities and support state income tax audits and notices. Manage and mentor a team of four Tax Seniors, coordinate information requests across internal and external teams, and partner with the Vice President of State & Local Tax to ensure accurate, deadline-driven delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and mentor a team of four Tax Seniors.
•Review US state and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and LLCs.
•Review state tax modifications, apportionment calculations, and blended deferred tax rate and return-to-provision adjustments for US subsidiaries.
•Oversee e-filing of state and local tax returns, extensions, and quarterly estimated tax payments.
•Assist with state income tax audits, respond to state tax notices, and manage information requests from internal and external teams.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation.
•7+ years of experience in SALT.
•Strong working knowledge of US state and local tax rules and reporting obligations.
•Advanced Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
•Experience using Corptax is required.
