Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts and diagnose issues using machine data.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
  • •Use technology (laptops and tablets) to support field work and documentation.
  • •When required, travel to customer job sites for preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Maintain complete and timely daily paperwork/electronic documentation; assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts and help train lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read/know schematics.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred; EPA 608 certification preferred (obtainable within 6–12 months).
