Key Responsibilities

•Partner with Account Executives to understand customer goals, workflows, challenges, and strategic initiatives; lead and participate in discovery sessions to identify business requirements and opportunities; translate customer requirements into tailored solution recommendations; develop solution strategies that align Cayuse capabilities with customer priorities
•Deliver compelling and tailored demonstrations of Cayuse products and solutions; customize demo environments to reflect customer use cases and business processes; present to diverse audiences including Research Administrators, Compliance Offices, Sponsored Programs Offices, IRB/IACUC/IBC/COI Administrators, Research Leadership and Executive Stakeholders; articulate business value, operational efficiencies, compliance benefits, and ROI
•Serve as the primary subject matter expert during the sales cycle; participate in account planning activities including stakeholder mapping, competitive analysis, whitespace identification, and executive engagement strategies; assist with multi-threaded engagement plans within strategic accounts; support deal progression, responses to RFPs/RFIs, security reviews, and technical evaluations; participate in competitive positioning and objection handling
•Maintain expertise across the Cayuse Research Suite; stay current on research administration trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices; provide market feedback to Product Management and Leadership; contribute to sales enablement and knowledge-sharing initiatives
•Leverage existing professional relationships within higher education, academic medical centers, healthcare systems, and research institutions to identify opportunities, facilitate introductions, and support business development; maintain and expand a network of research administration, compliance, sponsored programs, and research operations professionals; participate in industry organizations, conferences, presentations, user groups, and networking events; develop and maintain relationships with key influencers across the ecosystem
