Job Summary

Lead a team of relationship managers to deliver Premier banking services for high net worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Drive client relationship depth, revenue growth, and wealth management outcomes by acquiring new Premier customers, managing a complex portfolio, and identifying cross-sell opportunities to grow AUM. Set and execute sales plans, coach performance, champion customer-first service standards, and ensure risk, compliance, confidentiality, and operational excellence across the branch.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop action plans and strategies to acquire new Premier and Premier Elite customers and grow customer relationships.
•Actively manage the Premier and Premier Elite customer portfolio with personalised banking and wealth management solutions, including cross-sell opportunities to grow AUM.
•Develop and execute sales plans to achieve targets aligned to the wealth management strategy and deliver Wealth Management (WEM) targets.
•Recruit, mentor, and coach relationship managers, ensuring use of the HSBC sales process and financial planning concepts while elevating performance culture.
•Oversee risk and controls, uphold confidentiality and regulatory compliance (including Shariah non-compliance monitoring), and ensure operational excellence via accurate customer records and KPI monitoring.

Key Requirements

•At least 6 to 9 years in a sales leadership role managing a wealth sales team with experience providing a high service standard.
•Proven success managing a large and complex relationship portfolio.
•Excellent commercial acumen and leadership, with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
•Conversant in Shariah knowledge and competency.
•Certifications/qualifications are a plus: Certified Financial Planning (CFP), PreContract Examination (PCE) - Life & General Insurance, Federation of Investment Managers - Unit Trust, Malaysian Takaful Association License (MTA).
