Job Function: Energy & Utilities Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Design overhead power line systems, including selection of structures, conductors, and insulators.
•Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and design documentation using PLS-CADD, AutoCAD and Microstation.
•Conduct site surveys and data gathering to support design.
•Perform technical calculations to ensure structural integrity and electrical performance of overhead lines.
•Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations and environmental guidelines; collaborate with project managers and construction teams to integrate requirements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline (preferably electrical, civil or mechanical)
•Experience using PLS-CADD/TOWER software
•Prior overhead line engineering experience up to 400kV
•Experience on upgrading projects (e.g., High Temperature Low Sag conductors)
•Knowledge of galloping studies, EMF/Field Effects, Wake effect, and AC interference (gas pipelines a plus)
