Key Requirements

  • •7+ years managing software engineering teams in a direct-to-consumer product org, including experience managing other engineering managers, with a track record of shipping consumer products at scale.
  • •Strong technical foundation to review code and guide architectural decisions across multiple teams (and jump into the codebase when needed).
  • •Experience setting multi-team roadmaps and translating ambiguous org-level problems into clear plans and shipped features with product, design, and data science partners.
  • •Proven ability to hire, develop, and retain engineering managers and engineers, with a strong focus on growing careers.
  • •Hands-on experience building and operating systems at scale in production environments, with comfort in fast-paced ambiguity.
