Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform pre-operational inspections to verify equipment and production areas are clean, sanitary, and ready for startup.
  • •Conduct quality inspections and testing for raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • •Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • •Document inspection/test results accurately and support investigation, reporting, and resolution of quality and food safety issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field, or equivalent related experience.
  • •2–3 years of experience in a Quality role in food, pharma, or chemical production.
  • •Training experience with HACCP principles and ability to train plant employees in HACCP and SQF principles.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • •Knowledge of FDA and relevant local/state/federal regulations for manufacturing facilities.
