Key Responsibilities

  • •Run design activities for hyperscale data center construction and other projects through all design phases until handoff to the client’s construction team.
  • •Manage, coordinate, and administer the client’s design consultants and localize the program-level plan of record.
  • •Facilitate planning/kickoff workshops, design reviews, and large-scale coordination meetings across multiple design subject areas.
  • •Author scopes of work, issue and administer contracts, define and track deliverables, and track cost, schedule, scope, and progress.
  • •Provide health reporting and clear communication, coordinate design activities with procurement and construction, and ensure engineering information is issued to the right party on time.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • •Professional licensure (PE, NCARB, RA) is strongly preferred or significant professional experience (+10 years) may substitute.
  • •Prior experience with data center design and/or construction preferred.
  • •Strong understanding of construction principles and practices, including preparing project plans and specifications.
  • •Experience drafting scopes of work and managing multiple projects simultaneously; working understanding of AutoCAD for drawing reviews/mark-ups.
