Key Responsibilities

  • •Own Ripple Treasury’s security posture for the solution and infrastructure environment from assessment through remediation and ongoing maturity improvement.
  • •Lead threat modeling and security architecture reviews across Treasury offerings, influencing senior-level engineering architecture decisions.
  • •Define and run a secure software development lifecycle for Treasury surfaces, including security guardrails, CI/CD integrations, and developer guidance.
  • •Drive cloud security architecture across Azure and AWS, covering IAM, network segmentation, encryption, zero trust controls, Kubernetes traffic policies, and DDoS/WAF strategy.
  • •Run vulnerability discovery via assessments, penetration testing, and bug bounty; partner with GRC for SOC 2/ISO 27001 compliance; mentor Security Engineers and scale a Security Champions model.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of Security Engineering experience with hands-on work in product and infrastructure security.
  • •Expert product security skills including threat modeling (e.g., STRIDE), security architecture review, OWASP Top 10, API security, and secure SDLC development.
  • •Deep cloud security expertise across Azure and AWS and/or GCP, including IAM, network security, secrets management, container/Kubernetes security, and infrastructure-as-code security.
  • •Hands-on experience building and operating DevSecOps tooling such as static/dynamic analysis, software composition analysis, secrets scanning, container scanning, and CI/CD pipeline security integration.
  • •Strong software engineering skills in Python or Go (or equivalent) to build security tooling and automate controls.
