Job Function: Laboratory & Clinical Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in ensuring compliance with GLP, GMP, HACCP, FSSC, and Halal standards and requirements.
  • •Conduct physical, chemical, and/or microbiological testing of incoming materials, in-process materials, and finished products per SOPs and WIs.
  • •Accurately record QA findings and results in relevant forms and checklists; ensure raw material and finished product meet specifications.
  • •Communicate food safety/QA issues, abnormalities, or non-conformances to the immediate superior promptly.
  • •Maintain lab cleanliness and organization using good housekeeping and 5S practices; calibrate equipment, prepare test solutions/reagents and samples, and support sample storage and daily reports/inventory.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent; Diploma or higher is an added advantage.
  • •Basic hands-on knowledge of laboratory equipment and testing techniques.
  • •Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
  • •Knowledge of food safety systems such as HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, or FSSC 22000 (advantage).
  • •Good documentation, reporting, and record-keeping skills with strong attention to detail; able to work shifts/overtime when required.
