Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and manage small project teams on small projects.
  • •Serve as discipline lead engineer on mid-to-large size projects and provide specialised technical input for electrical work.
  • •Provide technical direction for studies and design efforts, presenting technical solutions to clients.
  • •Perform quality control reviews of work developed by junior engineers and participate in development of technical proposals.
  • •Support business development activities including identifying and winning new work, preparing estimates for engineering budgets and schedules, and contributing to tenders and contractor selection.

Key Requirements

  • •Work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business.
  • •Design experience/knowledge for low voltage distribution systems, lighting and emergency lighting, fire detection and alarms, and lighting protection.
  • •Experience using building services engineering software, including Autodesk Revit, and leading BIM design in Revit.
  • •Significant track record of leading multi-disciplinary design teams on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • •Ability to regularly base yourself in the AECOM Croydon office for face-to-face team contact, with willingness to travel across the South East of England (occasionally further afield).
