Key Responsibilities

•Design maritime structures in the marine environment, including quay wall, piers, jetties, revetment, breakwaters, fendering, scour protection, linkspan supports and dolphins.
•Plan, prepare, and successfully complete project deliverables.
•Review and comment on designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure timely and accurate results.
•Check and review technical specifications, reports, and technical notes to a high standard.
•Mentor staff and assist with tender preparation, including programme, cost estimate, resourcing, and quality/technical input.

Key Requirements

•MEng or BEng qualified in civil or structural engineering.
•Obtain SC security clearance.
•Significant experience designing structures in the marine environment (e.g., quay walls, piers, jetties, breakwaters).
•Experience presenting calculations to a high standard and using computer software including ROBOT, GRLWEAP, WALLAP, TEDDS, and PLAXIS 3D.
•Good understanding of British Standards, Eurocodes, and best practice in the maritime environment.
