Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct investigations, interviews, and property inspections within the assigned territory; prepare estimates and recommendations and handle coverage questions.
  • •Set and maintain reserves; review reports and related materials; determine coverage and claim value and issue or decline payment.
  • •Document claim files and submit reports for closure.
  • •Recognize subrogation situations and initiate appropriate action.
  • •Service assigned territory and bring assigned claims to conclusion; assist claims supervisor as required and participate in catastrophe response when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Successful completion of ERIE sponsored formal education is an option for Property Adjuster I (if applicable).
  • •Willingness to obtain and maintain required licenses; valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
  • •Incumbent must live in the assigned territory unless a change is approved by the company.
