Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build web applications that support customer service and collections associates in a high-volume call center environment.
  • •Develop responsive, intuitive user interfaces and middle-layer services integrating with enterprise systems, including CarMax Auto Finance’s loan accounting platform (Alfa).
  • •Build and maintain APIs and integration services connecting the web application to backend systems and third-party services.
  • •Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology partners to translate servicing and collections processes into effective tools and workflows.
  • •Support the full software lifecycle (design, development, testing, implementation, and production support) and continuously improve performance, usability, and reliability.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • •3+ years building full-stack web applications with modern front-end UIs and API/middle-tier services.
  • •Proficiency with Angular (Angular 17+ with Angular Material), C# and .NET 8+ (including BFF patterns), YARP, and secure inter-service communication (SSO Auth + mTLS).
  • •Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs integrating with enterprise systems and understanding relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
  • •Experience writing unit/integration tests and using Git/GitHub for version control and reusable libraries, plus comfort working in Microsoft Azure.
