Job Summary

Manage and grow relationships with aligned Retirement Division distribution partners in the Annuity IMO Channel to drive sales growth for both Symetra and assigned accounts. Develop partner operational understanding, coordinate with internal teams to resolve operational issues, and align partner needs with Symetra capabilities through regular meetings. Attend sales and quarterly update meetings, prepare monthly account summaries and sales analysis, and support product and service launches for external partners.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop thorough understanding of distribution partners’ operational processes, including new business processing and selling agreements.
•Partner with internal teams to resolve operational issues from distribution partners based on priority and capacity.
•Align distribution partner needs with Symetra capabilities through regular contact and meetings with IMO leaders and back office teams.
•Attend sales meetings and quarterly update meetings for key assigned relationships.
•Prepare and submit monthly account summaries and sales analysis to the Channel Vice President and support strategic business planning efforts.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma required.
•BA in liberal arts, business, or communications (or equivalent work experience).
•10-15 years in insurance, banking, brokerage, or investments.
•Relationship management experience with annuity programs; IMO preferred.
•Currently holding Series 6/63 and a Life Insurance License (or willingness to obtain).
