Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the analytical data layer for contracts, transactions, generation, prices, settlements, invoices, and non-trading adjustments, including standards, validation, reconciliation, and audit trails.
  • •Produce recurring post-trade performance attribution and benchmark/scenario comparisons, converting analysis into actionable conclusions with follow-up owners.
  • •Create structured decision logs to capture trader rationale and outcomes, analyze patterns and deviations, and turn lessons learned into playbooks and operating procedures.
  • •Identify and implement practical AI-enabled workflows for trading operations with governance and human review, including evaluation for traceability, confidentiality, and adoption.
  • •Develop monitoring for operational risk indicators, support compliance evidence and stress testing, and assist with market/vendor/management dashboards and analytical briefs.

Key Requirements

  • •Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Energy Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • •At least 2 years of relevant experience in data analytics, quantitative analysis, AI product delivery, energy market operations, commodities, financial services, or another data-intensive environment.
  • •Strong Python and SQL skills, advanced Excel capability, and practical experience with business intelligence or visualization tools.
  • •Demonstrated ability to clean and reconcile complex operational data, investigate exceptions, document assumptions, and create repeatable analytical workflows.
  • •Practical experience applying AI or machine learning to real business workflows, including model evaluation, human review, data privacy, and output traceability.
