Job Summary

Join the H-47 Chinook Airframes team as an Associate Structural & Payload Design Engineer, contributing across the product lifecycle. Assist with developing, integrating, and documenting structural and interior payload requirements, creating and updating designs using 3-D CAD, and validating components through test and verification. Coordinate with suppliers and internal engineering groups to support production and program goals, and explore emerging technologies for future concepts.

•Support supplier development, test, and production activities to optimize design and meet program goals.
•Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.

•Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical, or Material Sciences.
•1+ years’ experience in Aircraft Design.
•1+ years’ experience in Aircraft Structures.
•1+ years’ experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
•Ability to work under general supervision and support structural and interior payload design activities.
