Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, execute, analyze, and report on environmental measures in natural systems.
  • •Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, and compare findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
  • •Apply natural science knowledge (e.g., chemistry, physics, biology, hydrology, and mathematics) to explain observations and review data quality indicators.
  • •Prepare technical documents, proposals, and advanced data and scientific deliverables, and provide technical expertise support.
  • •Perform fieldwork including collecting soil/soil vapor/groundwater/surface water/sediment samples, preparing samples for shipping, and completing chain-of-custody or similar paperwork.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related discipline plus 4 years of relevant experience (or equivalent education/experience).
  • •U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License, with successful completion of a motor vehicle records check.
  • •Successful completion of a background check and enrollment in a medical surveillance program.
  • •Ability to collect and handle field samples (including lifting/carrying 50 pounds) and complete required field paperwork.
