Key Responsibilities

•Develop high-quality detailed design packages and provide engineering procurement and field technical support to implement designs.
•Prepare conceptual and Title II design deliverables including calculations, analyses, construction specifications and drawings, and equipment specifications.
•Support integrated project teams, including routine plant walkdowns to generate design documents and provide field support to craft personnel.
•Perform instrumentation/controls-focused electrical engineering design for equipment process control and monitoring.
•Create control cabinet assembly drawings, system diagrams, and control logic for batch and continuous processes using analog instrumentation, distributed digital control systems, and PLCs/HMIs; develop control narratives and contribute to P&IDs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 78,075 - 132,766 annually

Key Requirements

•ABET-accredited Bachelor’s in electrical engineering with 10-14 years’ experience, or an MS with 10-13 years and 5+ years of instrumentation and controls design experience.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy clearance (DOE Q).
•Demonstrated experience designing instrumentation and controls systems using the National Electrical Code, UL508A, and relevant ISA standards.
•Experience developing control logic and process control documentation for batch and continuous processes using analog instrumentation, distributed digital control systems, and PLCs/HMIs.
•Ability to meet pre-employment and ongoing requirements tied to clearance and WSAP random drug testing (drug screen and medical exams may be required).
