Key Responsibilities

  • •Support structural engineering and structural CAD design work on alternative delivery projects for Maryland and Virginia clients.
  • •Develop design packages for bridge design projects, including superstructure and substructure elements.
  • •Perform retaining wall design across all relevant types.
  • •Use bridge design software and tools including Bentley and the listed bridge design platforms.
  • •Take on increasing ownership across junior, mid-level, and senior/task lead roles as applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience for Structural CAD Designers.
  • •Junior level: BS in Engineering plus 2 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Mid-Level: BS in Engineering plus 6 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Senior Level/Task Leads: BS in Engineering plus 10 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Experience with bridge design packages and retaining wall design for all aspects of bridge design.
