Key Responsibilities

  • •Process meat products for the consumer using hand tools, knives (if trained), machinery, and other equipment.
  • •Support safe and efficient operation of the production line while meeting safety and quality standards.
  • •Maintain reliable performance across scheduled shifts and be available for overtime when production demands require.
  • •Handle physically demanding tasks such as standing on concrete/platforms, repetitive bending/stooping/twisting, and walking long distances.
  • •Follow required safety procedures, including wearing hard hats, hearing/eye protection, and steel-toed safety shoes, and using PPE in noisy environments.

Key Requirements

  • •Be at least 18 years of age.
  • •Understand and follow oral and written instructions.

  • •Be able to work around animal blood/carcass parts, in cold and/or warm areas, and handle sanitation/cleaning chemicals as needed.
