Job Summary

Serve as a legal business partner for Asia in the East/Asia Pacific region, advising management and stakeholders and supporting the Regional Legal Director. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, provide timely legal guidance on commercial, operational, and employment matters, and surface legal and regulatory risks early. Support licensing and regulatory negotiations, assist with regional transactions, and help manage disputes by researching laws, building arguments, collecting evidence, and drafting legal opinions.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the Regional Legal Director in overseeing Asia (East/Asia Pacific) legal matters across Aramex entities.
•Draft, review, advise on, and prepare commercial contracts as instructed.
•Provide effective and timely legal advice on commercial, operational, and employment matters.
•Identify legal and regulatory considerations early, and propose practical solutions with realistic timelines and costs.
•Support regulatory communication/negotiations, transactions, and regional dispute resolution by researching laws and drafting legal opinions.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.).
•6 to 7 years’ experience practicing law in a commercial or corporate setting, preferably in transportation and logistics.
•Fluency in Chinese (written and spoken).
•In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including contract, corporate, intellectual property, and employment law (including China laws).
•Experience working in China or advising on China/Chinese law is an advantage.
