Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and monitor facilities plant, the Building Management System (BMS), and fire alarm systems within the SSPAR facility
  • •Carry out Authorised Person (Electrical) duties for HV/LV systems to support planned and reactive maintenance
  • •Coordinate Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) activities and ensure compliance with Joint Service Publication (JSP) 375 and site procedures
  • •Maintain operational records, investigate issues, and produce reports to support continuous improvement and operational performance
  • •Supervise engineering subcontractors and support maintenance activities across facilities, mechanical, electrical, and radar systems, standing in for the Shift Leader when required

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification and/or significant experience working with HV and LV electrical and electronic systems
  • •Desirable: current Authorised Person (Electrical) HV/LV or prior experience performing AP duties
  • •Experience working within Safe Systems of Work environments with strong health, safety, and compliance commitment
  • •Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, building services or distributed control systems
  • •Confident communicator who can build trust and work effectively with customers, colleagues, contractors, and subcontractors
