Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and build high-performance client-side data rendering engines to visualize large volumes of data smoothly.
  • •Partner with designers and product managers to prototype, build, and ship interactive analytics dashboards and visualization tools across the Stripe Dashboard.
  • •Develop scalable, reusable visualization components and charting standards for engineering teams within Stripe’s core design system.
  • •Design frontend integration strategies and robust API contracts for analytics components adopted by partner teams.
  • •Optimize rendering performance and state management for web apps handling large datasets and real-time telemetry.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of relevant web front-end development or creative technology experience in a tech-forward, product-driven company.
  • •Advanced experience with React, modern TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/Sass, and modern web application architecture.
  • •Experience building interactive web charts and visualizations (e.g., D3.js, Recharts, SVG, Canvas, WebGL) focused on data density and visual hierarchy.
  • •Ability to write clear, elegant, well-tested code in a collaborative team environment.
  • •Deep experience building web applications that work across modern browsers, screen dimensions, and devices.
