Job Summary

Own and scale the end-to-end order-to-invoice (order intake through billing, collections, and cash application) for OpenAI’s commercial operations. You’ll manage go-live readiness for monetization launches, ensure accurate contract/provisioning/pricing/usage data flows, and reconcile strategic accounts for audit-ready billing. Partner with Revenue Systems, Revenue Accounting, Engineering, Product, GTM, Legal, and Deal Desk while embedding AI and automation to reduce manual effort and drive measurable performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Own end-to-end operational readiness for new monetization launches, including testing, reconciliation, invoicing integrity, go-live execution, and post-launch hypercare.
•Serve as the operational owner for strategic commercial accounts, ensuring accurate execution of contractual terms, usage, pricing, billing, credits, and invoicing across the customer lifecycle.
•Validate and reconcile customer usage, commitments, pricing, and billing data to ensure invoice accuracy, support compliant revenue recognition, and enable timely month-end close.
•Scale Order Management and Billing execution through BPO/offshore teams via workflow design, SOP development, training enablement, and quality controls.
•Embed AI and automation into Order Management and Billing workflows and establish KPIs/dashboards to reduce rework, prevent discrepancies, and improve operational throughput.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 158,000 - 175,000 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years of experience across Order-to-Cash, Order Management, and Billing Operations in a SaaS, enterprise software, or high-growth technology environment.
•In-depth knowledge of SaaS billing models, including subscription, usage-based, and hybrid structures.
•Hands-on experience with CPQ, ERP, and billing platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, NetSuite, Stripe, and Metronome.
•Strong understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, and SOX compliance frameworks.
•Demonstrated success driving automation initiatives and system implementations across the OTC cycle.
