Job Summary

Own the data platform that powers Stream’s go-to-market and product decisions. Build ingestion pipelines into BigQuery, integrate key GTM systems (Salesforce, Stripe, Postgres, PostHog, and billing), and develop a transformation layer with SQLMesh dimensional models. Improve reliability through observability and incident response, manage GCP/IaC infrastructure with Terraform, and deliver trusted datasets via Looker Studio, Google Sheets, and reverse ETL back to Salesforce.

Job Function: Administration & Executive Assistance

Key Responsibilities

•Own ingestion pipelines and integrations loading into BigQuery, including incremental loading, write dispositions, and predictable onboarding for new sources.
•Build and maintain the transformation layer with SQLMesh models and dimensional modeling conventions, keeping core revenue and attribution models accurate.
•Improve data reliability with data quality/observability, freshness checks, reconciliation tests, execution monitoring, and incident response when data is stale or wrong.
•Own platform infrastructure on GCP, including BigQuery, Terraform, IAM/service accounts, scheduled jobs, and deployment workflows optimized for security, reliability, and cost.
•Deliver trusted datasets to business tools (Looker Studio, Google Sheets, internal CRM) and enable reverse ETL back into systems like Salesforce; set technical direction and mentor contributors.

•Expert SQL and strong Python, with experience designing incremental, idempotent, well-tested pipelines.
•Deep experience with BigQuery (or another modern cloud data warehouse) and strong data modeling (dimensional modeling, warehouse design, testing, observability).
•Experience with modern ELT tooling such as SQLMesh, dbt, dltHub, Fivetran, or Airbyte.
•Infrastructure-as-code and platform skills with Terraform, plus orchestration/CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, Airflow, or equivalent).
