Job Summary

Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment. Assist with equipment implementation and startup, including PLC/HMI programming and optimization of manufacturing process control systems. Help coordinate new equipment installation and MES integration events, while maintaining accurate electrical drawings and documenting equipment changes. Identify and present solutions for control problems and continuous improvement projects through cross-department collaboration, with a rotating AM/PM crew schedule.

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot, repair, problem-solve, and maintain electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.
•Support manufacturing facilities, including remote support of worldwide manufacturing facilities.
•Assist with coordination of new equipment installation and implementation, including MES integration events.
•Maintain and update manufacturing process tool electrical drawings and document equipment changes.
•Implement new software changes/upgrades specified by the Controls Engineering Department and identify/control solutions for continuous improvement projects.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 26.97 - 38.46 hourly

Key Requirements

•2+ years of manufacturing equipment electrical/electronic/controls experience.
•Associate or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Robotics, Industrial Controls, or Electronic Engineering (or 5+ years verifiable related field experience).
•Ability to troubleshoot electrical/electronic control systems in a manufacturing environment and interpret data to reach conclusions.
•Competence in Autodesk AutoCAD to create electrical schematic and panel layouts.
•Working knowledge of Rockwell Automation Logix PLCs and HMI (FactoryTalk View ME; Proface a plus), including at least two control networks (ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, and/or Ethernet).
