Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage complex auto claims from initial investigation through resolution, including multi-vehicle accidents, coverage disputes, liability issues, physical damage, and total loss.
  • •Investigate and evaluate claims by analyzing policy language, statements, evidence, damages, and applicable laws to support coverage, liability, and settlement decisions.
  • •Evaluate and negotiate first- and third-party physical damage claims within established settlement authority.
  • •Document decisions and advance claims using Guidewire ClaimCenter and digital collaboration tools.
  • •Proactively manage claim inventory, deliver exceptional member service, and support catastrophe-response operations (including on-call and potential evening/weekend/holiday work as required).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •3 years of recent auto claims adjusting experience, including auto liability claims with coverage investigations, disputed liability, and comparative negligence.
  • •Experience independently managing an assigned auto claims inventory from investigation through resolution.
  • •Experience handling auto physical damage claims, including repair-related claim decisions and settlements.
  • •Acquire and maintain required insurance adjuster licensing within 90 days (three attempts may be required).
