Key Responsibilities

•Explore and apply deep learning for NLP tasks such as word segmentation and Named Entity Recognition (NER), plus text/multimodal pre-training, query analysis, and relevance modeling.
•Develop cross-modal matching to combine computer vision and NLP for semantic understanding and multimodal video search retrieval.
•Use large-scale streaming machine learning to address recommendation challenges and improve personalization.
•Research and innovate on large-scale data architectures, optimizing distributed systems for performance, scheduling, and scalable online serving.
•Build and iterate on ultra-large-scale search recommendation systems and related recommendation technologies.

Key Requirements

•Final year Ph.D or recent Ph.D graduates in Computer Science, engineering, or a quantitative field.
•Proficient coding skills and strong algorithm & data structure using C++/Python/Java.
•Solid knowledge of machine learning with practical experience applying it.
•Effective communication and teamwork skills.
•Modeling experience in Ads, search engine, recommender systems, and/or NLP/CV.
