Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, maintain, and support Splunk Platform components across multiple cloud providers and on-premises infrastructure.
  • •Implement, test, deploy, and debug distributed systems, including code review and production investigation.
  • •Apply distributed systems best practices for reliability, performance tuning, and debugging (e.g., Kubernetes controllers, databases, data replication).
  • •Monitor and improve service health using observability, SLOs, RPO/RTO targets, alerting, runbooks, and recovery testing.
  • •Mentor and guide junior and entry-level engineers while participating in agile culture and technical design reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid software engineering experience in Go and/or C++, plus scripting proficiency in Python or Bash for automation and tooling.
  • •Deploying and operating critical cloud-native applications at scale across SaaS and/or on-premises containerized environments.
  • •Experience implementing, testing, and deploying distributed systems, with hands-on debugging, code review, and production investigation.
  • •Ability to participate in technical design reviews and communicate engineering trade-offs to stakeholders.
  • •Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus strong interpersonal skills and commitment to knowledge sharing.
