Job Summary

Support the design and development of current and next-line HVAC products, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver industry-relevant solutions for global customers. Lead value analysis/engineering, quality and reliability efforts, and technically complex new product and new technology projects across TK North America APU platforms. Develop concepts through detailed design, release engineering documentation via PLM/PDM, run DFMEA and related risk processes, and use Tableau for project reporting and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute and support Value Analysis & Value Engineering (VAVE), Quality & Reliability projects, and technically complex New Product Development (NPD) and New Technology Projects (NTP) for TK North America APU platforms.
•Collaborate with global project owners and cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Suppliers) to ensure project execution aligned with company processes and principles.
•Develop concepts into detailed design, create component specifications, and select components or work with suppliers for development.
•Drive creation and release of engineering documentation (designs, drawings, bill of materials, and specifications) using PLM/PDM tools.
•Perform and support DFMEA, build/testing, should costing, business case preparation, prototype builds/validations, and lead gate meetings/critical design reviews.

Key Requirements

•BE degree or master’s in mechanical or automobile engineering with good academics.
•5-7 years of hands-on product design and development experience, including component selection, system integration, and concept development (HVAC domain is an advantage).
•Experience executing end-to-end Value Analysis & Value Engineering (VAVE), Quality & Reliability, and supplier qualification initiatives.
•Fluency in DFMEA, test plan development, prototype/engineering builds, root cause analysis, and mitigating technical risks.
•Strong proficiency with project management and PLM/PDM systems, plus knowledge of system engineering (MRD, PRD & PDD).
