Job Summary

Support the Costing discipline by performing routine cost controls tasks under direct supervision. Use existing costing procedures to help deliver budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and cost trending/variance analysis. Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to gather and organize accurate cost data, and support weekly and monthly cost and progress reporting. Assist with maintaining cost control systems, change order processing, and supporting project cash flow updates.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide essential administrative and support functions to the cost controls team in the EPCI industry (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation).
•Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking to support efficient cost controls operations.
•Gather, organize, and document project cost data to ensure accuracy and completeness for reporting.
•Support weekly and monthly cost and progress reports to management and the client, including cost and schedule performance.
•Conduct basic cost analyses (cost trending and variance analysis) and support change order preparation/processing and cash flow maintenance.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or 0 to 4 years of experience in a similar role (or transferable technical/construction training).
•Ability to work effectively as part of a team to ensure business goals.
•Strong coordination skills to gather cost data from project leaders, finance, and accounts departments.
•Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks, monitor progress, and meet deadlines.
•Good knowledge of MS Office and strong attention to detail for data entry, documentation, and report preparation.
