Job Summary

Provide high-quality evaluation and treatment for patients with speech, language, cognitive, fluency, voice, swallowing and feeding disorders. Manage a caseload independently with supervision, develop and implement targeted therapy plans, collaborate with families and professionals, use standardised assessments, and deliver integrated speech and language interventions within the SEHA network in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities

•Independently managing a caseload of patients with developmental speech and language delay, social communication disorder, dysfluency, and motor speech disorders (dyspraxia)
•Developing and implementing specialised speech and language treatment plans for individuals and groups targeting a wide range of difficulties (attention/listening, auditory processing, play/interaction, language expression, articulation)
•Advising families and care teams on management of communication needs and oro-motor difficulties, setting targets, and providing resources
•Using standardised assessments and clinical reasoning to establish baselines and plan interventions
•Delivering therapy to ensure speech, language and communication programmes are integrated into daily routines and education

Key Requirements

•Master's degree in Speech Therapy or related field
•Minimum 2 years of experience in Speech and Hearing Sciences or Speech Language Pathology
•Proven communication skills in Arabic are desirable

•Ability to conduct comprehensive case histories and assessments using standardised tools
