Key Responsibilities

  • •Design video analysis (e.g., ROI/SOD, content understanding, temporal grounding) and quality assessment algorithms, and support database creation and algorithm development/optimization.
  • •Develop strategies for end-to-end video quality optimization combining video analysis, processing, and encoding algorithms.
  • •Apply algorithms for VOD and live streaming monitoring, including data analysis and objective evaluation of algorithm performance.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into production workflows and validate impact via A/B testing.

Key Requirements

  • •Completing or recently completed a PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • •In-depth knowledge of video analysis and/or subjective/objective video quality algorithms and state-of-the-art technologies.
  • •Proficiency in one of: C, C++, or Python.
  • •Experience with ML and image/video processing tools such as sklearn, OpenCV, and ffmpeg.
  • •Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch) and Transformer-based multimodal LLM approaches, with hands-on implementation or research experience preferred.
