Key Responsibilities

  • •Own supplier quality performance (PPM, escapes, on-time-quality) and drive improvement plans.
  • •Ensure supplier-related processes comply with AS9100 and support internal/external audits.
  • •Support supplier qualification/approval using risk assessment, process audits, and capability studies (MSA, SPC, PFMEA, Control Plan).
  • •Lead APQP/PPAP for purchased parts and validate special processes and critical characteristics.
  • •Manage RMA/returns and MRB for supplier-caused nonconformances, including timely containment, disposition, and cost recovery, and facilitate Supplier RCCA using 8D to verify effectiveness and prevent recurrence.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • •8–12 years in a manufacturing/industrial environment with at least 5 years in Supplier Quality.
  • •Minimum 5 years in Supplier Quality within the aerospace industry.
  • •Deep knowledge of AS9100 and AS9145 (APQP/PPAP), FAIR per AS9102, GD&T, and SPC/MSA, plus PFMEA/Control Plan and RCCA/8D.
  • •Experience with RMA/MRB, cost recovery, and ERP/QMS workflows; ASQ CQE/CQA or Lead Auditor preferred.
