Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership of Configuration Management processes to ensure CM compliance, including planning, identification, control, status accounting, and auditing.
  • •Lead programme start-up and change activities, including tailoring, estimating effort, selecting toolsets, and establishing configuration and governance processes.
  • •Define and administer release management for structured and unstructured data, generating baselines and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
  • •Drive continuous improvement and process simplification across the programme with the profession lead.
  • •Lead a team of configuration and data managers to deliver work on time and to budget, and champion EHS compliance and improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Frequent use of configuration and knowledge management principles on large or complex projects.
  • •Detailed working knowledge of Def Stan 05-57 (or equivalent).

  • •Ability to create and introduce tailored processes and guidelines, and implement suitable toolsets for configuration management.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with willingness to work out of hours and possess or obtain SC.
