Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and oversee a team of Intermediate Quantity Surveyors to ensure effective cost management and control of spend.
  • •Undertake or review measurement of designs and on-site works; develop schedules of rates/Bills of Quantities and assess on/off-site materials.
  • •Produce and oversee monthly payment certificates and package final accounts, including recommendations for monthly payments and final accounts.
  • •Develop and maintain cost management processes, systems, and administrative procedures; monitor compliance with cost control standards and provide escalation routes.
  • •Oversee variations, cashflow forecasting, retention/liquidated damages impacts, and support responses to contractor claims and disputes.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years’ experience, with at least 3+ years in the aviation/transport infrastructure industry.
  • •Understand and be able to work with construction contract commercial documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • •Strong experience delivering technically complex, high-value infrastructure projects.
  • •Experience working in a comparable consultancy environment or with a client or contractor organization.
  • •Knowledge of cost management principles and standard method of measurement, including policy and procedure implementation.
