Job Summary

Lead end-to-end process reimagination across Albemarle’s most complex, cross-functional workflows using human-centered design, journey mapping, and service design. Define outcome-based performance metrics and identify agentic AI/automation pilots, partnering with IT and Digital teams to translate outputs into technology-ready specifications. Build and maintain an Experience and Process Design (EPD) delivery playbook and embed EPD standards into strategic initiatives to shape the future enterprise operating model.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead end-to-end process reimagination engagements across complex cross-functional workflows, using human-centered design to diagnose stalls and pain points and define future-state experiences.
•Design and facilitate structured process workshops, decomposing workflows into discrete task units and mapping tasks to roles, including human decision work vs. system or agent execution.
•Define outcome-based performance metrics (decision speed, quality, and rework reduction) and align stakeholders on what “good” looks like in the redesigned process.
•Identify and prioritize agentic AI and automation pilot opportunities and partner with IT and Digital teams to produce technology-ready specifications.
•Build and maintain the EPD delivery playbook and embed EPD standards early in strategic initiatives to influence solution design before key architectural decisions.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Organizational Design, Human-Centered Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
•7+ years of experience in process improvement, experience design, management consulting, or a related discipline, leading complex cross-functional process redesign initiatives.
•Deep expertise in process analysis methods including value stream mapping, workflow decomposition, RACI design, and current-state/future-state documentation.
•Proven ability to design and facilitate executive-level workshops that produce structured, actionable outputs.
•Fluency with human-centered design principles, journey mapping, and service design for enterprise processes.
