Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and analyze company-wide costs to support target profitability during annual forecasting, budgeting, and mid-term strategic planning.
  • •Lead planning, execution, and progress monitoring of operational efficiency initiatives.
  • •Act as a Finance Business Partner to Operations, supporting large-scale projects with governance and progress monitoring.
  • •Maintain standard costing processes in SAP S/4HANA and use variance analysis to improve productivity and reduce unit manufacturing costs.
  • •Lead CAPEX governance: budget for capital investment projects and monitor execution against approved plans and priorities.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably multinational; at least 5 years in management accounting, controlling, and cost accounting.
  • •Native-level proficiency in Japanese.
  • •Business-level English preferred (intermediate English considered with motivation and ability to collaborate with global stakeholders).
  • •Demonstrated leadership potential and strong ability to collaborate across functions (prior people management not required).
  • •Must have valid work authorization in Japan.
